Biography

As executive vice president and chief financial officer, George Kilguss III is responsible for all of the company’s financial functions, including accounting, audit, treasury, corporate finance, and investor relations. He also oversees and manages all human resources and facilities activities. His career spans more than 30 years of varied experience in financial management, business leadership, and corporate strategy.

Prior to joining Verisign in 2012, George served as senior vice president and CFO for Internap Corporation, an IT infrastructure services company. Before that, from 2004 to 2007, he served as CFO for Towerstream Corporation, a wireless internet provider. From 1997 to 2000, he served as CFO for Stratos Global Corporation, a mobile satellite service company.

Earlier in his career, George held senior-level positions in both investment and commercial banking companies, including Riparian Partners, G.A. Fleet Associates, and Bank of Boston Corporation.

George holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in economics and finance from the University of Hartford.
